About LinkedIn integration

Connect LinkedIn to turn marketing and outreach into a measurable lead pipeline.

Instead of leads living in ad dashboards and DMs living in someone’s personal inbox, this integration pulls key activity into one place so your team can respond faster, stay consistent, and stop dropping opportunities.

What you can do with LinkedIn connected

  • Capture leads automatically from LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms and campaigns.
  • Centralise conversations by syncing LinkedIn messages so enquiries don’t get missed.
  • Route enquiries to the right person based on rules (service area, job type, urgency, company size).
  • Auto-create tasks and follow-ups so every lead has a next step (call, email, quote, site visit).
  • Enrich lead records with profile/company context (role, company name, industry) to personalise replies.
  • Track performance: lead source, response times, conversion stages, and what’s actually working.
  • Prevent duplicates by matching emails/companies where available and merging into a single contact record.

Extra functionality worth enabling (if you want maximum value)

  • Auto-tagging (e.g., “Commercial”, “Housing”, “Urgent”, “Tender”) based on message keywords.
  • Qualification prompts that request missing details (site location, scaffold type, dates) the moment a lead arrives.
  • Pipeline stages that move automatically when someone replies, books a call, or requests a quote.

Setup the LinkedIn integration

1) Connect your LinkedIn account

  • Click Connect LinkedIn.
  • Sign in to the LinkedIn profile that manages your activity.

2) Choose what you’re connecting

Select the LinkedIn sources you want to sync (depending on what your account has enabled):

  • Lead Gen Forms / Campaign leads
  • Messaging / Inbox
  • Optional: Company page context (for brand-managed interactions)

3) Set permissions

Approve access so leads and messages can be read and routed.

  • If you manage a Company Page or run Lead Gen Forms, ensure you’re an Admin (or have the correct campaign permissions).

4) Decide what happens when a lead arrives

Configure rules such as:

  • Create a new lead/contact
  • Assign owner (or round-robin)
  • Add tags
  • Create tasks (e.g., “Respond within 15 minutes”, “Send quote request checklist”)
  • Push into a pipeline stage (e.g., New Lead → Contacted → Quoting → Won/Lost)

5) Test it

  • Submit a test Lead Gen Form (or send a test message).
  • Confirm it appears correctly with the right owner, tags, and follow-up task.

Common setup pitfalls

  • Wrong LinkedIn user connected (not the one running campaigns).
  • Not enough permissions to access Lead Gen Forms.
  • Multiple inboxes/pages without clear routing rules.
